Liberty returns home for its 150th anniversary interiors collection, The House of Liberty. In celebration, the studio looked to its illustrious past, documented in the drawings and manuscripts by the pioneering designers and forward-thinking artists of the time – unveiling the aesthetic legacies treasured in the Regent Street flagship. Drawing on pivotal moments that have defined Liberty as the leading tastemaker and artistic innovator of interior design, this collection embodies decades’ of cultural shifts in a captivating array of harmonious juxtapositions. Revived through a contemporary lens and exhibited through the design house’s signature colour palette, The House of Liberty pays homage to a legacy of craftsmanship and artistry.

Ianthe was created by well-known French Art Nouveau designer, R. Beauclair, in approximately 1900 and was later redrawn by David Haward’s Studio. Ianthe is Greek for purple or violet flowers, suggesting that the flowers in the design may have originally been drawn from violets. In celebration of 150 years of Liberty, Ianthe has been innovatively reimagined for interiors in a new overprinted jacquard interpretation. With the timeless beauty of an antique, Royal Ianthe has been developed with contemporary interiors in mind. Ideal for drapery, cushions, and accessories.
