The Modern Collector offers a celebration of Liberty’s historic love for craftsmanship and design, paying homage to our founder (and the original collector) Arthur Lasenby Liberty. This Liberty Interiors collection draws upon three pivotal print stories of Floribunda, Art Nouveau and The Tree of Life, translated onto exquisite furnishing textures with a special focus on surface, line and bold colouration. Archival Liberty prints have been reinterpreted and reworked, appearing alongside contemporary new artworks created in our London design studio – for the next generation of iconic Liberty interiors.

A true heritage icon, Hera has adorned Liberty designs ever since the mid-1890s – discover it here in a beautiful piece-dyed jacquard weave, evoking the “art for art’s sake” opulence of the Aesthetic Movement in a fresh and contemporary new take.

Hera Plume is a multidirectional one-colour version of Hera, inspired by the jacquard design for our Liberty silk pyjamas and adapted for modern interiors. The base is expertly woven in Italy using bespoke dyed linen and viscose, creating a soft effect with fine detail and rich colour effects. The mixed fibres of the piece-dyed jacquard weave creates beautiful matte and lustrous contrast effects, perfect for light domestic upholstery, soft cushions and luxurious drapery.
