Bombazine is a contemporary interpretation of the historical flame stitch, a bold, often colourful zig zag pattern achieved through a combination of different weaving techniques. Popular during the 18th century amongst Europe and its colonies, this luxurious weave was developed for Liberty. Using textural yarns, coloured with rich hues from the design house’s signature colour palette, this beautiful coordinating fabric offers a vibrant graphic contrast to the collection’s intricate floral artworks. Ideal for light upholstery, drapery, cushions, and accessories.
