Inspired by the imaginings and solitary musings from a deserted tropical island, Liberty’s newest collection ‘Castaway’ captures the enchanting world of aquatic flora and fauna, vast ocean horizons and a menagerie of tropical delights in a charming collection of island prints. Explore the underwater kingdom of marine corals, swimming paisleys and swirling shoals of fish, discover memories captured on the pages of a journal to the soothing sounds of ocean spray and wonder at the carnival of glistening constellations and spiralling planets revealed by an endless night sky. Colour palettes are derived from this dreamy island paradise: from saturated blue skies, vivid aqua seas and rich earth tones, to sun bleached hues of silver birch, sage and sherbet, offset by sophisticated white washes of pearl, seashell and alabaster.

Rachel was inspired by a Liberty furnishing fabric called Sedgemere, originally designed in 1988. It features hand painted botanical flowers, nestled among lush green foliage.

Our Tana Lawn™ cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in our own Liberty Printing Mill in northern Italy, Tana realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy. Machine washable and durable enough for daily wear, it is perfect for both simple separates and spectacular statement pieces.
