Liberty’s Ianthe Bloom pillowcase is expertly crafted from luxurious cotton bonneville – a silky-smooth and soft material with a lightweight finish. Printed at our very own Italian fabric mill, Ianthe was originally devised as a wallpaper border in c.1902 by French artist René Beauclair and reimagined for the ‘swinging London’ market by the Haward Studio, a family textile firm who sold designs to Liberty for three generations, from the Edwardian era to the 1980s. Pair with contrasting prints to embrace the maximalist aesthetic, or style with crisp white bed linen as a pop of vibrancy within a pared-down bedroom set-up.
